In just a few years, the company has grown from only four employees with one account to over 250 employees with strategic locations in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Mobile, and Memphis.
Purpose of Position
The VP of Driver Recruiting and Retention is responsible for leadership, support, and strategic direction for the driver development team, driver retention, and driver marketing.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by Executives.
Responsible for overseeing the services carried out by the Drive Team, the National Director of Driver Retention, and Driver Marketing.
Responsible for recruiting and onboarding of Independent Contractors, Company Drivers, and Mule Drivers across all markets to meet business needs
Responsible for working with other leaders to improve driver retention by identifying opportunities and implementing necessary improvements
Responsible for analyzing data to make strategic decisions related to driver recruiting, onboarding, and retention
Communicate company mission, vision, goals, and key initiatives to the team for awareness and to drive desired organizational changes.
Responsible for development and management of driver team, retention, and driver marketing department goals aligned to corporate goals.
Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of policies, procedures, and methods.
Develop and keep current team job descriptions and roles and responsibilities.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, developing, motivating, disciplining, and appraising overall employee performance.
Build strong and productive relationships with other departments and functions to ensure the best work product and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience demonstrating management and leadership in driver recruiting and retention
