Junior Project Manager (Finance)
This role will have broad decision making responsibility and will provide on-going financial and administrative support for the Senior Project Manager and Project Management Office activities. Works under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Manager. Bachelor's degree required, research experience desired. The candidate will be a point of contact with funding agencies and partnering institutions for administrative and technical issues. Responsibilities include day-to-day management of project activities, managing all project-related meetings and communication with external institutions, developing schedules and milestones for internal team and for collaborative efforts with other teams, and meeting those schedules.
The incumbent must possess strong analytical skills, proven verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Prepares complex reports, analyses, and proposals. Formulates, monitors, and controls budgets for research and/or service projects. The results of actions and decisions may have a significant impact on substantial segments of the University's operations or finances.
Bachelor's degree in Management, Technical Writing, Research, HealthCare administration or Business Administration preferred. 2-3 years of project and product management experience in moderately complex projects involving multiple organization in a research oriented health care setting.
