Printer Operator (Administrative)

Job Description:
Responsibilities for Printer Operator jobs include but are not limited to:
Validates print jobs are set up to specifications
Loads rolls of paper for printing
Prints documents
Troubleshoots equipment issues including perforators, slitters and cutters
Documents inventory usage and waste
Provides post-printing checks and balances
Follows quality steps throughout the entire process.
Assists quality check team members in job validation
Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of the print equipment and print operations area
Other duties as assigned
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Printer Operator jobs:
Certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in a variety of print types such as checks, statements, and/or other miscellaneous correspondences is helpful but not required
Prefer experience on Oce or Canon production continuous digital printers. Experience with other production digital printers will be acceptable
Strong mechanical ability and aptitude with high attention to detail.
