Sr. Functional Concept Analyst (Government)

Our Sr. Functional Concept Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
In conjunction with U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC) and the Futures & Concepts Center (FCC), and at direction of U.S. Army Sustainment Center of Excellence, Capabilities Development & Integration Directorate (CDID) - conducts Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) Capabilities Development activities to modernize the Army, specifically, execute the newly revised Top-Down Futures Development Process (TDFDP), consisting of Task 5: Prioritize Challenges/ Opportunities/Issues; Task 6: Gaps & Opportunities Identification/Refinement; and Task 7: DOTMLPF-P Integrated Solutions Development.
Works with Concepts Division to identify critical Required Capabilities (RCs), align existing or develop new Tasks, Conditions, Standards (T/C/S), identify and assess all DOTMLPF-P fielded & programmed solutions, leading to identification of critical capability gaps and Ideas for Materiel/Non-Materiel Approaches (IMA/INMAs) to mitigate these gaps.
Support Focused Research Teams (FRTs), and production of Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) products as critical components of the JCIDS and TDFDP processes to modernize the Sustainment Warfighting Function with priority towards INDOPACOM theater. â€¯Support and inform Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), as well as all other COEs/WfFs experiments and the sustainment community. â€¯
Position will require participation, integration and collaboration with Soldier Support Institute (SSI), AFC, other Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate, and the Sustainment community of practice events/efforts to include in-depth analysis and expertise in Human Resources, Adjutant General, and Finance required to improve analytic rigor for SSI focused concepts and capabilities development support.
The successful candidate must have the following requirements and experience:
A minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in United States Army sustainment covering strategic, operational, and tactical levels including deployments or experience in recent operations in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation New Dawn (OND).
Active U.S. SECRET clearance.
Ability to independently organize, write and conduct research/analysis from strategic down to the functional task level.
Ability to carry out complex military research and analysis, have current relevant experience in Theater, Corps, Division and Brigade level operations, modular structures and concepts, as well as, U.S. Army, Joint and Multinational operations.
Must have current relevant experience in Joint Capability Area (JCA), joint and/or NATO concepts, doctrine, Army Universal Task List, and the Universal Joint Task List.
Must be able to perform intermediate-level graphics generation, technical document preparation, and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.

Preferred expertise in Human Resources, and/or Adjutant General, and/or Finance as it pertains to military concepts and sustainment.
