Manager, Public Workforce Solutions (Sales)



Overview

The Manager of Public Workforce Solutions is responsible for uncovering partnerships and pathways for growth with economic development, workforce development and government agencies at the national, regional and state levels that increases learner interest in DeVry University & Keller Graduate School of Management degree and certificate programs, workforce products and scholars' programs. The candidate will assess need, present solutions and lead in implementing workforce solutions. They will build a stronger image and brand regionally and nationally, growing program revenue streams, and contributing to the University's overall success.

The Manager will assist the Vice President of Public Workforce Solutions to implement, assess and ensure successful multi layered workforce development solutions that may include corporate upskilling, Community College pathways, high school dual enrollment programs and workforce development programs. The Manager will develop and implement program initiatives that grow new student enrollments, revenue and brand recognition in support of our mission.


Responsibilities

•Conduct outreach, make initial contact with potential partners, oversee meetings and presentations and facilitate DeVry engagement with potential partners

•Oversee legal negotiation of partnership agreement terms with various internal and external contacts and stakeholders in collaboration with general council, marketing, academics and all other necessary departments

•Provide opportunities for business and industry to assist with the development of workforce solutions to include: apprenticeships & internships.

•Build and maintain strong partnerships with economic development entities, chamber organizations and other workforce development agencies to ensure alignment and execution of collaborative workforce strategies to include: Talent Pipeline Management

•Gathers information for additional funding opportunities to support workforce solutions and programming.

•Gathers labor market information, talent demand and skills requirements and translating data into meaningful information to create workforce development strategies.

•Develop and manage a database of public sector and industry leaders and maintain regular communication through appropriate channels.

•Consistently evaluates data to drive accountability from partnerships for enrollment growth and student success.

•Oversees the development and execution of national and regional workforce solutions.

•Provides team with clear timelines for strategy implementation and progress monitoring.

•Collaborates with other internal partners to set priorities and deliverables.

•Assists in the development of the strategy for geographic real estate and program expansion.]

Qualifications

•A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

•Bachelor's degree required

•Excellent relationship-building skills which can translate into significant lateral relationships with external and internal partners, direct reports, and DeVry management

•Highly motivated, self-driven, result-oriented, creative, and guide strategic initiatives

•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

•Recognizes the value the different perspectives bring and works cooperatively with others

•Must be able to inspire loyalty, trust and be flexible and adaptable
