Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with business clients by providing tailored commercial insurance solutions. The ideal candidate has strong sales acumen, in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, and a passion for helping businesses protect their assets and operations.
Daily Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new commercial insurance clients through prospecting and networking
Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients; maintain accurate activity records in the CRM
Uncover cross-sell opportunities within your existing client portfolio
Provide expert advice and deliver exceptional service to build long-term client relationships
Partner with account managers to craft and present customized insurance plans
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and client trust
Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and production goals
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
Licensing: Active property and casualty required (or ability to obtain prior to starting).
Experience: Minimum 23 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or a related role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Knowledge of a wide range of commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial auto, workers' comp, property, cyber, etc.).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to assess risk and design complex insurance solutions.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM and agency management systems and adapt to learning new technology (e.g. Hawsoft) and adapt to learning new technologies.
