Infrastructure Sales Engineer (Finance)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analysis, design and engineering of solutions involving network
infrastructure, server virtualization, WAN, and client endpoint
hardware and software solutions to meet client needs
• Providing high level networking expertise to BIG personnel and
clients
• Direct interaction with clients of all knowledge levels, and at any
level of their organization, is crucial for success
• Promoting BIG's product and service offerings which include
managed network services, computer hardware and software sales
and wireless offerings based on BIG's desired product standards
• Understanding clients' specific business needs & challenges
through technical solution selling techniques
• Building business cases to substantiate design and engineering
• Holding "C" level meetings with agility and confidence
• Preparing business cases and proposals in conjunction with team
members
• Clearly communicating the business value of Business Information
Group and the proposed solution
• Coordinating communication between sales, engineering, and
purchasing to gather required information to build quotes and
SOW's
• Using Salesforce.com for quote requests, orders and tasks
