Graphic Designer (Finance)
Reports to: Art Director
Roles and Responsibilities
Design promotional material, which includes but is not limited to flyers, direct mailers, ads, t-shirts, texts, social media, websites, eblasts, signage, brochures, etc.
Conceptualize new designs, artwork and proofs based on requirements given while maintaining brand consistency and Company quality standards
Proofread and edit designs to ensure accuracy and proper use of branding
Maintain multiple design requests at a time
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of graphic design experience
Present a strong portfolio of designs, illustrations and other graphics
Student Housing experience is preferred
Must have a great working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
Knowledge of UX and Web design is a plus
Creative- Ability to come up with new marketing ideas and design concepts
Adaptability- Ability to accept changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Integrity- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and perform all job functions in an ethical manner.
Communication and Contact- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with superiors, colleagues, and individuals outside the Company.
Attendance and Dependability - Ability to consistently report to work on time at the scheduled time and seldom be absent for work.
Detail-oriented- Read, understand, and edit marketing materials. Make accurate decisions.
Deadline-conscious- Meet company deadlines, roll-out of marketing plans and campaigns in a timely manner, etc.
Relationships with Others- Ability to work effectively and relate well with others, including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
Job Location
Corporate Office - Athens, Ga
Working in the corporate office is preferred
Working remotely within 70 miles of Athens will be considered
Remote employees must be able to work in the office in Athens 2-3 times per
month for collaborative sessions with the Creative Team, trainings, company
meetings, etc.
Remote employees must be available to work during office hours (9 am - 5:30pm)
