Setup, operation and troubleshooting of injection molding machines in a production environment.
Setup, operation and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment, such as dryers, material feeding systems, temperature controllers, etc.
Provide assistance with Engineering Samples and mold tests.
Provide ownership and input of injection molding process and equipment for the reduction of defects, overall process improvement, and/or the reduction of downtime.
Ability to perform basic molding machine and injection mold maintenance.
Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist, mentor and train employees of Injection Molding area to help develop and improve processes.
Performs other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
HS degree or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years of strong manufacturing experience with proven ability to drive results.
Experience working in plastics industry (thermoforming, injection molding, extrusion) preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Knowledge of plastic injection molding equipment, plastic resins and molds
Knowledge of set-up and tear-down procedures of molds
Ability to use multimeter – ohms and AC voltage
Troubleshoot and repair 240V circuits
Teamwork and communication with on and off shift set-up technicians and supervisors
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to read and understand work instruction and do basic math
Basic keyboarding and computer skills
Requires standing, repeated reaching and twisting, hand movement throughout entire shift.
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Requires lifting and moving materials of up to 55 lbs.
