In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial thoughtfulness and insights to facilitate the decision-making processes of the organization. You will be accountable for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to drive business performance and profitability. Your expertise in financial thoughtfulness and forecasting will be instrumental in helping the organization achieve its financial goals.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the financial success of the organization, contributing to the overall growth and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct financial thoughtfulness and provide insights to facilitate decision-making
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
  • Analyze variances and identify areas for improvement
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance
  • Facilitate financial planning processes and provide recommendations for cost optimization
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for management
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial thoughtfulness

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $87,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in financial thoughtfulness or related roles
  • Strong thoughtfulness and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CFA or CPA
  • Experience in a multinational or global organization
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
