Job Description
Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown - or Lehigh Valley - is in close proximity to many of the major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the accuracy of facility schedule, materials and labor utilization, and maintenance of work requests. In this role you will also oversee accuracy of job estimates and equipment records, administration of preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and work schedule initiation. The Maintenance Planner role entails the planning and scheduling of work for maintenance supervisors for approximately forty hourly personnel on a three-shift operation. In this role you act as a staff agent in investigating, analyzing developing time standards for, and deciding on job plans for maintenance work for all crafts in the facility.
