Trails End Breakfast Cook - Winter 2020-21 (Project Management)
Prior kitchen experience not required but is preferred
English/Spanish Bi-Lingual skill helpful. English required
Must be able to work well with other employees
Must be flexible with schedule and available to work weekends and holidays
Able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, environment
Possess outstanding guest relation skills
Able to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements and reach with hands/arms to handle objects, tools or controls
Be able to obtain your ServSafe certification if not current
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare food promptly and efficiently in accordance with instructions given by the Supervisor and established production standards and time constraints
Food presentation- Buffet line is kept clean, checking chafing dishes often to ensure presentation and quality of food is at our standards
When in the Aspen Room guest service is genuine but professional. Guests should be asked if they need anything
Assist in cleaning kichen area and in dining room itself
Place food orders, either via computer or call in, per the food vendor deadline
Stock and shelve food and beverage supplies
Work safely to prevent injury by proper use of knives and other kitchen tools
When complaints are made or problems are encountered with a guest and you are unable to resolve the matter to the guests satisfaction, notify your manager
