Position Summary: The Remote Support Specialist is part of a high functioning Desktop Support team for EBNHC servicing East Boston, South End and other surrounding areas. The prime responsibility will be tracking and maintaining our growing inventory of mobile computing devices. This includes asset management, imaging, RMA and 3rd party repairs. Also providing support for the Health Centers remote workforce including training in the use of our remote access system both on the phone and in person, Onboarding new employees with equipment and training. Assist Telephony in deploying and tracking Mobile Phones including iPhones and Mi-Fi's.The Remote Support Specialist needs to have a solid understanding of Mobil computing, this includes phones, tablets and Laptops. Also a working knowledge of Mobile computing technologies and security. (Office 356, DUO 2-factor authentication, VPN, Softphone, Citrix, Zoom and Telehealth) User will need a background in IT and Helpdesk support in a medium size Healthcare organization. This includes supporting Office applications, EMR, Windows OS and support of 3rd party applications. At least 2- 5 years' experience working on an IT helpdesk or Desktop Support. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to self-start.
Will also provide back up and coverage for the IT Helpdesk and Desktop Technician teams delivering both on site and telephone support.
