Each year, the endowment distributes millions of dollars for student scholarships, faculty teaching and research, and other vital educational programs and initiatives.
Position Summary
The Investment Team Member will join a small, collaborative team within the Foundations Investment Office and serve as an integral contributor to the management of approximately $2.3 billion in assets across a diversified, multi-asset portfolio that supports the long-term success of the University of Massachusetts.
Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Team Member will work closely with colleagues to support all aspects of endowment management, including (i) monitoring existing investment managers, (ii) identifying and evaluating new opportunities, (iii) analyzing portfolio performance and risk data, and (iv) contributing to portfolio construction and research. The role offers broad exposure across asset classes and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Foundations objective of generating superior, risk-adjusted returns for the endowment. Successful candidates will bring intellectual curiosity, proactivity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills, along with sound judgment and excellent analytical and communication abilities.
