At Linxon Americas, we're looking for a driven and visionary Lead Secondary Engineer to spearhead the design and execution of advanced control, protection, SCADA, and automation systems across a diverse range of high-impact projects—including substations (AIS/GIS), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), railway electrification, data centers, and wind energy facilities. What will you do?

Technical Leadership:

  • Develop specs and BOMs for protection, control, SCADA, and automation systems.

  • Lead vendor bid reviews and ensure technical consistency.

  • Strong knowledge of protection schemes, relay settings, CT/VT sizing, and SCADA systems.

Design & Coordination:

  • Oversee secondary design integration with auxiliary systems, LV/control cables, and surveillance.

  • Create protection SLDs, SCADA architecture, and technical drawings.

Stakeholder & Project Management:

  • Engage with clients and suppliers, resolve site queries, and support as-built documentation.

  • Support engineering budget, schedule, risk, and change management.

Vendor & Quality Oversight:

  • Evaluate vendor solutions for compliance.

  • Review designs, attend FATs/SATs, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Documentation & Support:

  • Provide technical calculations, specs, BOQs, cost estimates, and clarifications.

Who you are?

  • Bachelor's in electrical engineering + 8 years, or Master's + 6 years.

  • PE certification preferred.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD/MicroStation, Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with ETAP, SEL tools preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical scopes and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience in renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
