Job Summary
Participates in the acquisition of existing utilities, responding to RFPs, managing community relationships, implementing, and coordinating the programs necessary to manage the utility projects for the Texas water and wastewater systems. This includes the development and execution of an overall integration strategy, individual project plans, general business analysis, regulatory support, and other project management responsibilities related to the operation of the water and wastewater systems.
Essential Functions
Required: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint; ability to learn internal software programs
Additional Skills
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Business Administration or similar field.
Preferred: MS or MBA
Certifications/Licenses
Required: Must maintain a valid driver's license
Experience
Requires a minimum of 7 years' engineering/operations experience, preferably related to water and/or wastewater projects and design.
Physical Demands
Moderate physical demands, including lifting (25 lbs.), and walking (1-2 miles daily). Requires normal hearing and vision.
Equipment Used
Smart phone, laptop, copy/fax/scan machine, telephone and other general office equipment. Operates a Company issued motor vehicle.
Travel Required
Within the region; up to 75% for training, meetings, project management, etc.
