Supervisor Display Planner (Government)

This role oversees both the Display Planning & eComm Operations areas.  Managing the end to end planning and prioritizing of all domestic VAS (Value Added Service) displays and modular pallets, including packaging and finished good components. Manages and executes all aspects of the daily eComm business as it pertains to operations. Drives process improvement, cost initiatives; implementing SOP and KPI's as well as mentoring and developing support staff for future growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily activities for the Value Add area including planning, purchasing and inventory management for packaging components. Prioritizing work for on time and in full delivery to customers. Managing inventory levels to reduce O&D, to achieve company objectives.

  • Manage new display item initiatives end to end, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders such as Brand, third party logistics partners, Master Data, Procurement.

  • Processes oversight to ensure inventory accuracy and transactional excellence.  Including but not limited to Bill of Material validation, transaction error resolution, consumption reconciliation.

  • Liaison for Operations surrounding eComm (Amazon) item launches, order management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective initiatives to reduce fines.  This includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Transition & integrate launched items into the VAS planning area.

  • Troubleshoot and lead daily issue resolution for eCommerce and VAS related activities and communicate cross functionally with the appropriate groups.

  • Manage special projects and initiatives across the Business such as repack work.

Experience, Skills, Education:

  • Associate's Degree preferred, High School Diploma required

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in inventory, deployment, or production planning required

  • Previous people management experience preferred

  • CPG experience and/or manufacturing highly desired

  • Microsoft Office proficiency required, expert knowledge of Excel required

  • Previous ERP system experience required, preferably JDE or SAP

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, learning agility, problem solving, project management, analytical, organizational and strategic and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to mentor and develop support staff for future growth

  • Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment with accuracy and manage to deadlines.

  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion to make a difference and drive improvement
