Network Administrator (Project Management)
I measure my success as Network Administrator by the following:
- I strive daily to exceed my customers expectations by providing a positive first impression, determining actual needs, delivering real solutions, adding value where I can, and leaving the customer with a lasting positive last impression. I know by following the Reasors Service Model, I do make a difference.
- I respect my customer, and those I work with, and this empowers me to do my very best to deliver a quality customer experience for each customer, and to assist those I work with in doing the same.
- My fellow employees and I work to ensure that our department meets the high standards set out for us, and that we deliver on every aspect of the Reasors Value Proposition daily.
- I support information security policies and procedures for both operational and strategic project security requirements.
- I support information security monitoring including implementing processes that monitor all potential information security threats.
- I support department operations, including intra-department and intra-company communications.
- I support external threat awareness, including maintaining a current awareness of information security issues, threats and strategies to ensure and maintain a secure information systems environment.
- I support annual IT risk assessments and provide information security consultancy for internal and external IT related audits.
- My fellow employees and I follow the Reasors policies and procedures as we go about our daily tasks knowing that this creates a safe and secure place to work and shop.
- My safety, my customers safety and the safety of those I work with is my first responsibility, and by following the procedures in place, and using the training provided, I go about my daily business mindful I have control over my safety and the safety of others.
- I am mindful that the equipment and tools that I use to perform my job are to be used properly and only after proper training. That used improperly, I am a danger to myself, those I work with and possibly my customer.
Network Administrator: What I Do, How I Do It, and Why I Do It
As Network Administrator, this is what I do:
Information Technology Department Operations I support Information Technology Department operations, including intra-department and intra-company communications, staffing, supervision, policies and procedures, budgeting, department financial goals and objectives, reports, efficient use of supplies, and safe use of equipment and tools.
Information Security Policies and Procedures I support Information Security, including working with management to develop and maintain information security policies and procedures for both operational and strategic project security requirements.
Information Security Monitoring I support Information Security Monitoring, including implementing processes that monitor all potential information security threats and maintaining compliance requirements to ensure information security strategy is robust.
External Threat Awareness I support Information Security, including maintaining a current awareness of information security issues, threats and strategies to ensure and maintain a secure information systems environment.
IT Risk Assessments and Audits I support annual IT Risk Assessments and provide information security consultancy for all internal and external IT related audits.
Problem Solving - I clearly define issues upfront and then use critical thinking skills and logic to effectively obtain answers to questions through a conscious and organized manner.
Safety/Quality Orientation I consistently produce and emphasize the need to produce high quality products and services while being aware of the issues and following procedures that affect personal safety and the safety of others.
As Network Security Administrator, this is how I do it:
Building Relationships - I successfully initiate, develop, and foster relationships with others. I take a personal interest in the interests and ideas of others and treat others fairly, respectfully, and sincerely. I empathize with the emotion of others and consider things from other peoples perspectives.
Conscientiousness I demonstrate responsible behavior, thoroughness of work, and dependability. I consistently demonstrate compliance with all Reasors policies and procedures, including regular and timely attendance, adherence to dress code and ensuring a safe work environment, and a willingness to complete other duties as assigned.
Superior Customer Service/Hospitality - I completely understand what delivering great customer service entails. I remove any barrier impeding customer service. I ensure that others are equipped to deliver great customer service through communication, training, hiring practices, etc. I actively look for ways to help others. I make people feel special. I demonstrate and encourage the cordial and generous reception and entertainment of customers or strangers socially or commercially.
Integrity - I demonstrate and act in accordance with an appropriate and sound set of values, beliefs, and business ethics. I am an honest person.
Professionalism - I hold myself accountable by demonstrating a no excuses approach to my own attitude, performance, and results. I work in the interest of the organization even when it involves putting individual needs aside.
