Western Hemisphere Policy Analyst (Government)

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
The analyst will provide technical advice, analysis, reports, briefings, and recommendations to leadership working defense issues in the Western Hemisphere that may affect regional security and U.S. security events. The analyst will support the preparation of senior DoD members for travel to Western Hemisphere and for engagements with Western Hemisphere dignitaries visiting the U.S. The position supports the Deputy Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs (DASD/WHA) security cooperation responsibilities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree in national security management, public policy, political science, or international studies or 8 years relevant experience in supporting a U.S. government agency in a field relevant to security, policy, or international studies.
