Product Development Manager (Education)
This individual is responsible for managing a team of Instructional Designers, managing learning development product projects, as well as working directly with directors, managers, and members of other Learning Development teams. Manages the workload of the team's instructional designers and works with other directors and managers to allocate work efficiently, fairly, and in accordance with Learning Development standards. Works with a Director, Learning Development as needed to set schedules and priorities and to ensure all product deadlines are met and instructional quality is maintained. Serves as a technical expert in instructional systems design and the planning, organization, and development of training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific training needs. Performance will be measured by instructional quality (as reflected in customer product evaluations and project closeout activities); on-time delivery of all projects; and effective resource utilization, including MC staff and independent consultants.

Additional preferred experience: Managing small to medium size teams, managing projects, managing client relationships, working collaboratively, and conducting single source development and reusable learning objects. Experience with learning content management systems, Xyleme preferred.
