MRK - Traffic Porter 1 (Finance)



Traffic Porter

Location: Wentzville, Missouri
Starting Pay: $19.50+/hour - Based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $1,400

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Traffic Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely checking in, transporting, and organizing vehicle chassis and finished units, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all traffic operations. This position requires attention to detail, strong driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all company and departmental safety policies and procedures

  • Accurately measure, read, and interpret written orders to complete assigned tasks

  • Maintain zero-defect standards through quality checks and adherence to company policies

  • Participate in PPS , 5S , and TPM initiatives to support continuous improvement

  • Flex across functional areas to meet business needs

  • Drive, park, and transport chassis and finished units, including trips to and from off-site locations and dealerships

  • Check in chassis according to Masterack's established process

  • Maintain meticulous records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Work overtime as needed and operate with minimal supervision

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Valid state-issued driver's license at time of hire

  • Ability to pass DOT physical examination and comply with all DOT regulations

  • Must pass Masterack's driver background check

  • Strong teamwork skills and a safety-first mindset

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and squatting

  • Occasional crawling or working in confined spaces

  • Use of hands for gripping, handling, and repetitive tasks

  • Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated areas as needed

  • Comfort operating in a manufacturing plant environment
