Accounting Assistant (Administrative)
Founded in 2009, KEYS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, private-public partnership, dedicated to enhancing access to supportive services for low-income residents in San Bernardino County. KEYS provides an array of services including case management to assist families and individuals in accessing existing resources and services within the County.
Under supervision of the Finance Manager plans, organizes, and assists with all billing and clerical functions in the KEYS Finance Department. Processes a variety of accounting transactions such as invoices and payments in accordance with department procedures. Checks and verifies accounting data and uses the system to research questions and generate reports.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma Required. Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent of 2 years general clerical experience preferably in areas of accounting.
Full-time, non-exempt position. KEYS provides medical, dental, life and vision insurance options for all full-time employees. Voluntary 403(b) plan offered.Employees are eligible for enrollment the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. Paid holidays, Vacation and Sick time.
