Diamond Plastics Corporation has an immediate opening for a Maintenance position. This position is responsible to provide technical / physical support in the area of mechanical maintenance. Maintain plant equipment and systems in good operations condition in order to insure safe and efficient production utilization. Core Essential Functions include the following: Testfaulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment and software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.Inspectcomponents of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires.Installrepaired equipment in various settings.Examinework orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributedto the problems.Performscheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, and repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.Set up andtest industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.Repair andadjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn partssuch as gaskets and seals in watertight electrical equipment.Maintainequipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.Other tasks as assigned.
