The successful candidate will be responsible for managing/scheduling flights, managing pilots, and coordinating maintenance of aircraft. Candidate must ensure safe flight operations and comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Flight Operation Manual and Standard Operation Procedures. Must have an outstanding flight and safety record, excellent communication skills, and stay compliant with all training, and safety requirements. This position requires experience in flying a King Air 300/350. The current corporate aircraft includes a King Air 300 with Blackhawk XP67A engine upgrade. Heres how youll contribute: Coordinates flight operations and scheduling of aircraft Ensures that proper pre-flight and post-flight inspections are being accomplished, including but not limited to equipment, fuel, weather conditions at destination and enroute, the aircraft, its publications, document airports and departure points, permits, and airport/runway suitability Coordinates maintenance scheduling with flight scheduling to avoid conflicts Coordinates contract pilots as necessary and performs first line review and approval of associated costs and expenses staying within corporate guidelines Ensures the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safe return after each successful mission Supervises the activities of all pilots, and coordinates the functioning and training of all crewmembers assigned to the flight Coordinate with corporate office to ensure all recurrent/training for every pilot is up to date and is verified with the Companys insurance carrier Develop pilot and crewmember training manuals/programs and aircraft checklists. Develop and implement safety training and regulations, as well as deliver all notices and directives to flight crews Conducts indoctrination training for new hire pilots Maintains proficiency records, pilot files, flight schedules, and duty time records Manage and maintain aircraft records and maintenance schedule Prepare reports and correspondence pertaining to flight operations activities As chief pilot must stay up to date with local and federal flight regulations, as well as stay current with their own flight qualifications Provide excellent customer service and uphold Bradley values and Cornerstones to all passengers, including employees, customers and family members of the company owner/s Must serve as Bradleys in-flight Ambassador as it relates to presenting himself/herself in a professional, mature and cordial fashion to all passengers, including customers, employees and family Follow all FARs (Federal Aviation Regulations), and company policies pertinent to assigned duties Update publications and enter flight data as required Supervise refueling and servicing of aircraft as required Maintain current navigational manuals and charts Review aircraft status and paperwork to ascertain factors such as load, weight, fuel supply, weather, flight route, and schedule for safe flight Maintain a safety first frame of mind including the commitment to ensuring that the aircraft is air-worthy and all write-ups are cleared prior to flight Responsible for the management of direct reports or contract pilots, including pay administration, prioritizing workload, and measuring work performed. Acts as Liaison between FAA and company as needed Other related duties and projects as assigned. Heres why we want you: Degree in Aviation or related field and 5 years of related experience At minimum, an FAA ATP rating, an FAA Second Class medical certification, valid and current US Passport, an exemplary history including no violations, revocations, disciplinary actions or aviation related accidents. At least 5,000 total flight hours with 2,000 hours minimum turbine experience, 1000 hours Turbine PIC, 500 hours Actual Instrument time and 2,500 hours multi-engine experience. King Air 300/350 Type Rating preferred Experience as a corporate or charter pilot dealing with company executives and customers in a manner which reflects well on the corporation King Air 300/350 Type Rating or equivalent is preferred Ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule that includes duty assignments in the early morning, late night, weekends and holidays At Bradley, we seek diversity.
