Valencia College is seeking a Professor of Art to join our dedicated, passionate faculty team as a full-time, annual appointment beginning Fall 2019. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic exhibition record, and a solid background in curating, managing and/or directing fine arts museum and /or gallery shows.

Degree Requirement: Master's degree or higher conferred from a regionally accredited institution in humanities, art history or fine arts, OR 18 graduate credits hours in art history, fine arts, or humanities.

Salary: Full Time Faculty positions are compensated based on the Full Time Faculty Salary Schedule.
Work Hours: Teaching assignments may include day, night, or weekend classes.

8-month, Annually Appointed
As an 8-month, annually appointed faculty member, you will be primarily responsible for teaching in discipline, planning, organizing and providing feedback to promote and direct student learning. This position is appointed each year and contracted to teach six courses, maintain 12 office hours and, in addition, works with the dean to identify and then contribute five hours of service in areas that support student learning and engagement.
