Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Department: Human Resources
General Summary:
Provides regional and corporate wide support related to McNaughton-McKay's human resources function.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Manages the recruiting and hiring activities for openings in assigned region(s) including job postings and advertising, applicant screening, reference checking, and offer letters. Proactively partners with the hiring manager to develop recruiting strategy for both current and future openings.
2.Develops, deploys and measures the results of sourcing strategy for assigned region, including (but not limited to) the use of social media, job boards and job fairs.
3.Continues to develop the Dayforce recruiting functionality to ensure the system is fully utilized and supports the organization's recruiting efforts.
4.Supports the development of the Dayforce onboarding functionality to create engagement, build morale, support retention goals, and increase productivity.
5.Maintains an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to recruiting and human resources activities.
6.Conducts new hire orientations including introduction to the employee handbook, benefit programs and company internet.
7.Assists with other HR programs and projects including development of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
8.Represents the company policies and procedures through branch visits to the region focused on meeting with employees and collaborating with the leadership team.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline and 2 plus years of experience in human resources generalist activities; equivalent amount (5+ years) of professional human resources experience considered in lieu of meeting the degree requirement.
2.Demonstrated ability to be discreet and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
3.Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4.Ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.
5.Strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
6.Proven experience with a fully integrated HCM solution required with Dayforce experience preferred.
