Vancouver office of our client seeks business and transactional attorney with 7+ years of experience practicing corporate law. The candidate will manage certain existing client relationships, work with other attorneys in the business and corporate practice group with existing client matters, and will be expected to establish new client relationships. Will analyze complex legal issues. Prepare legal documents. Maintain positive relationships with firm clients. Participate in marketing and community involvement activities. Must have experience advising clients on a variety of business and corporate matters, including entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, contracts, corporate and partnership tax, and general corporate counseling. Substantial experience with the preparation of contracts is essential. Experience with independently handling business transactions is needed. Excellent drafting and editorial skills and commitment to superior work product is essential. Thorough understanding of business and corporate law is essential. Working knowledge of corporate and partnership tax is needed. Must be licensed in Washington and Oregon (or ability to obtain reciprocity admission in Oregon).Established around the mid-twentieth century, this reputed law firm is based in Washington.
