Stone Setting Apprentice (Construction)

The Stone Setting department is responsible for polishing, engraving, plating, and setting stones, demanding high dexterity, concentration, and attention to detail to ensure the quality of each piece.
The Stone Setting Apprentice plays a vital role in transforming jewelry designs into finished pieces through craftsmanship and precision. In this entry-level position, the apprentice will be trained in the art of stone setting, using traditional tools and techniques to skillfully secure stones in fine jewelry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Learn to use and maintain specialized hand tools to set stones securely and beautifully.
Assist with the positioning, mounting, and securing of stones in various types of jewelry.
Develop a strong understanding of setting techniques, terminology, and best practices.
Gain knowledge of stone types (genuine and synthetic), sizes, and product requirements.
Inspect completed pieces to ensure they meet strict quality and design standards.
Support quality control efforts to uphold Stuller's commitment to excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

Relevant experience in metalworking, jewelry making, or a similar field.
Ability to work with small, delicate components.
