House Coordinator - Sedalia, MO (Project Management)
Assists individuals served in achieving their goals
Learns the personalities, habits, and routines of individuals served and works with them accordingly.
Provides encouragement and support to individuals served so they can achieve their desired objectives.
Teaches, supports, and models appropriate social skills when working with individuals served.
Encourages and empowers individuals served to express their wants, needs, and individual preferences.
Provides training as outlined in the program individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP).
Documents progress on ISP objectives daily in a thorough, accurate, and person-centered manner.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree (AA or AAS); two years related work experience; or combination of education and experience to equal two years. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based services is required.
