CCI, on behalf of Riverview Investment Holdings LLC, is hiring a EH&S Manager to support Riverview subsidiary INGENCO in the Richmond, VA area. Industrial Power Generating Company ("INGENCO"), owns, designs, develops, constructs, and operates landfill gas-to-electricity and distributed generation facilities. INGENCO currently owns and operates 160 MW of capacity across 18 facilities located in the U.S. mid-Atlantic region. INGENCO sells energy, capacity, and renewable energy credits via several long-term off-take retail contracts as well as through the wholesale markets.
Responsibilities:
Strong multimedia (air, waste, and water) experience of applicable OSHA, EPA, VDEQ and other related federal, state, and local regulations and compliance. Candidate must have a strong background in the area of air permitting, calculations, and compliance.
Oversee the reporting, investigation, and documentation of all injury and near miss incidents.
Direct environmental permitting strategy and applications for current operations, expansion projects, and new site developments.
Lead in creating and maintaining a climate in which individuals believe EH&S has high value and that they are clear about responsibilities, safety aims and objectives within INGENCO.
Monitor INGENCO's EH&S Program and procedures and formally advise managers on areas of compliance solutions.
Manage INGENCO's EH&S Compliance System, including but not limited to; overseeing the establishment and review of risk assessments, monitoring records of actions taken and evaluating contractor safety.
Establish procedures and training matrix associated with EH&S training needs for INGENCO and maintaining records of training undertaken.
Identify opportunities for continuous safety improvement within INGENCO and assist the Plant Managers and Senior Management Team in their implementation.
Communicate with external bodies such as local authorities and specialist groups on ES&H matters.
Implement internal monitoring and auditing of all EH&S Compliance obligations within INGENCO and providing associated compliance reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in science field preferred
10+ years of experience
CSP. A master's degree in related field with an ASP will be considered in lieu of CSP certification.
