Transition Age Youth (TAY) Outreach Worker (Finance)
The Catalyst Transition Age Youth shelter program is funded by a governmental program. Continued employment is contingent upon continued receipt of those funds.
Description: Works closely with the TAY Coordinator and Youth Services Program Manager to provide street outreach and community awareness efforts in order to foster relationships with the homeless at-risk youth population. Assist in preparing and presenting various presentations and outreach to San Joaquin County organizations and residents including youth and young adults ages 18-24 who are at risk of homelessness. Attend, represent and participate in community events, meetings and conferences. Provide support to youth participants in TAY program. Use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement. Documentation of outreach efforts and assist in the preparation of monthly reports as needed.
