Specialist, Family Engagement (TX) (Personal Services)
Summary
The Family Engagement (FES) Specialist will support the delivery of Save the Children's 21st Century Learning Center Programs including psychosocial activities and Family Engagement supports. This position will provide technical support for psychosocial program implementation in disaster affected and non-disaster affected areas including Psychological First Aid, HEART, Shelter from the Storm and Journey of Hope (JoH) during disaster response and recovery phase. The FES Specialist will be responsible for supporting the immediate needs assessment, partner identification, training, program implementation, ongoing technical support and management of psychosocial and family engagement programs. The FES Specialist will provide support to the school level program teams and school district partners and is responsible for: tracking monthly and quarterly beneficiary information, program expense tracking, ensuring program materials are supplied to the partners, monitoring program progress and fidelity to curriculum intent and periodic reporting of the program activities to the USPA Team. As a frontline representative of Save the Children, the position holder is required to ensure safety and protection of children and families that s/he come in contact with and represent the agency values of Accountability, Ambition, Collaboration, Creativity and Integrity.
