Job Description
Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown - or Lehigh Valley - is in close proximity to many of the major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Mighty Dog® and Alpo® brands - brands we have carefully produced, packaged and shipped since 1955. The Associate Quality Technician assures compliance to both Nestle and regulatory guidelines for production of wholesome and safe pet food product. In this role you will audit incoming materials, manufacturing parameters and procedures, and complete finished product inspections. The Associate Quality Technician assures that all product released from this facility is safe for consumption. It will be your responsibility to isolate and detain all non-conforming pet food and lead corrective action planning and implementation for continuous improvement. This role will be required to work back shifts as required for business need.
