Medtronic Interventional Vascular & Structural Heart (IV&SH) provides interventional devices to treat coronary arteries that are blocked by atherosclerotic plaque and devices and therapies to treat structural defects of the heart.
Our Santa Ana, California location Test Lab is part of Medtronic's Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit, which offers minimally invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves-aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid-and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body's largest artery, the aorta.
We are currently looking for a Technician IV on 1st Shift to support our R&D Test Labs where our primary focus is the flow testing of finished valve implants and assuring product perfection.
As a Technician IV you will provide technical support to product testing, R&D operations, basic processing equipment assembly, alignment, mechanical adjustment, calibration, validation and repair based on process analysis and specifications to ensure testing needs are met.
The senior level candidate will have an advanced working knowledge of electronics manufacturing technologies and demonstrate an ability to apply problem solving skills and pragmatic thinking while working in a high paced team-oriented environment.
