Michael Baker International is seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager with 10 years related experience to support the West Region in our Santa Ana, CA office.
DESCRIPTION
In partnership with the Regional Director and the respective Office Executives, the Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of financial and operational management of the region including Business Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis. The position will share responsibility for driving growth, optimizing margins and profit and controlling indirect expenditures. In addition to directly managing a team of Project Accountants, the RFM will direct and oversee the monthly closing and reporting of regional financial results as well as the annual budget process and quarterly forecast cycles.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises Project Accountants. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include mentoring, interviewing, hiring and training employees, as well as planning, assigning, and directing work. Cultivate a high-energy, team-oriented environment. Appraising performance, rewarding and coaching employees. Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
