Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Finance)

Position Summary:
As a member of the Mechanical R&D Product Design team, this engineer will contribute significantly to efforts to: understand current and future needs of our customers and our business, explore and evaluate new technologies and concepts for meeting those needs, and rapidly demonstrate feasibility of such technologies through rigorous modeling, analysis, prototyping, experimentation, and other risk identification and mitigation activities.
Working as a member of a technology development team, this engineer will collaborate and communicate with company management, operations, marketing, supply chain, quality assurance, and other departments and vendors.

Functional Description: Technical Individual Contributors
Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging. Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
