Compensation and Equity Manager (Project Management)

As a Compensation and Equity Manager, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and administration of our compensation and equity programs to attract, retain, and motivate Rollins teammates. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, analyzing market trends, and ensuring competitive and equitable compensation and equity practices.

Responsibilities

You Will be responsible for. . .

Compensation Management:

  • Manage a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and talent acquisition/retention goals.
  • Analyze market trends and benchmarking data to ensure competitive compensation structures.

Executive Compensation:

  • Oversee the administration of executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, and long-term incentives.
  • Ensure executive compensation practices comply with regulatory requirements and governance principles.

Incentive Programs:

  • Develop and oversee variable pay programs, such as annual incentives, sales commissions, and profit-sharing plans.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of incentive programs and recommend adjustments as needed.

Stock Plan Administration:

  • Develop and implement stock administration policies and procedures.
  • Administer equity incentive plans, ensuring accurate and timely processing of stock grants, exercises, and releases.
  • Maintain accurate records of equity transactions and participant information.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of long-term equity compensation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze market trends and industry best practices to recommend improvements to existing stock plans.

Financial Reporting:

  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting of equity-related expenses.
  • Provide support during external audits related to stock-based compensation.

Salary Structure and Job Evaluation:

  • Design and maintain the organization's salary structures, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct job evaluations to establish appropriate job classifications and salary grades.

Compensation and Equity Communications:

  • Work with the Rollins internal communications team to communicate compensation and equity programs to teammates, ensuring transparency and understanding of the overall Total Rewards structure.
  • Provide guidance to and training for HR and management on compensation-related matters.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations related to equity and compensation.
  • Ensure the organization's compensation practices comply with legal requirements.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Collaborate with HR business partners, finance, and other relevant departments to align compensation strategies with overall HR and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance to management on compensation-related decisions and participate in the resolution of complex compensation issues.

Qualifications

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation, with at least 2 years focused on equity administration
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, equity vehicles, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

  • We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks.  Candidates must have the ability to perform the requirements of the job with or without accommodations.
  • Must be local to the Atlanta metro area or willing to self-relocate to the area.
