Content Strategist (Creative Design)

Position Summary:
This role is responsible for the strategy, design, and validation of educational content for Global Health and Wellness products. The position works collaboratively with internal teams to ensure products are developed and launched in accordance with the strategy and design. This individual leads internal and external content writers, designers and developers to successfully implement market-leading solutions with strong customer adoption and learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and disseminate products and programs while meeting established deadlines and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Create original evidenced-based content for a variety of channels (Social, Club, Professional, International, Academic).
• Lead the development of the vision, strategy, and requirements for NASM/AFAA educational and training solutions by working collaboratively with product manager.
• Serve as member of product development team. Clarify deliverables for each product component. Communicate to product team the content plan and requirements. Ensure final content maps to approved product plan.
• Provide internal and external educational and content expertise to drive product positioning, training, and launch materials.
• Assess best practices and outcomes associated with product content in the form of learning, engagement, etc.
• Work directly with customers to provide expertise in implementing and integrating products with educational curriculum or employer training programs.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve product issues.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or fitness related field
• Experience with educational product content development process
• Fitness experience or experience in the design of educational products in a fitness environment
Skills & Abilities:
• A strong interest and understanding of trends in education and educational technology, especially as applied to skills-based education and training
• Exhibits curiosity and learning agility to discover and understand market and customer requirements
• Ability to learn and apply what is learned
• Experience with educational product content development process
• Demonstrates thoughtful, strategic and customer focused decision making
• Takes initiative, leads change and solves problems; takes ownership with minimal supervision
