Business Systems Analyst (Information Technology)
Perform technology functions to include but not limited to business and systems analysis, application development and process improvement. Serve as a liaison between the business area and the IT organization as needed. Identify, document and communicate system and process changes necessary to improve system and operational performance measures. Possess an in-depth knowledge of line of business while contributing to the identification, analysis and recommendation of technical process improvement initiatives. Design, create and implement the technical solutions. Support one or more low to moderately complex business processes.

Departmental Requirements:
• Write software code, test, debug, document and maintain computer applications.
• Identify coding errors through informal & formal testing methods. Ensure application integrity by applying software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts.
• Provide ongoing maintenance of applications.
• Document functions and changes to new or modified modules and test activities/results.
• Identify and create technical design specifications in sizing technical requirements, as needed.
• Support identification of sources of data feeds and interfaces, as needed.
• Experience in systems design, database development, testing, and integration methodologies
Departmental Preferences
1. SQL and/or C# experience
2. Mainframe experience (Cobol, SAS Data Analyzer etc.)
3. Programming and analytical skills
4. Knowledge of electronic enrollment file processing.
5. Knowledge of MembersEdge/NASCO membership and billing systems
6. Intermediate or higher knowledge of MS Excel, SharePoint and MS Access
