Wash dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, and/or pans by machine or hand, and keep up with a high volume of these soiled items
Empty, dispose of, and clean trash and recycling items
Sweep and scrub floors daily or as spills occur
Maintain clean and sanitary workstation at all times
Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays
Assist in food preparation during slow periods
Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by chef at any time
Place clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment in designated storage areas

Qualifications/Knowledge:
Candidate must hold current New Mexico Food Handlers Certification prior to or within 30 days of hire.
1 years' experience in a high-volume kitchen & or dishwashing preferred
Ambition to grow into higher position
Ability to communicate in a positive and productive manner while tasking
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Will often lift and carry up to 25 pounds. 90-100% of the time will be spent standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting and smelling. Occasionally sitting - less than 15% of the time.
Background Check:
Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
