Specialist, Data Testing and Optimization (Manufacturing)
Summary
The Specialist, Testing & Optimization works in the Digital Marketing Team to help enact a multi-faceted website strategy and achieve ambitious growth goals. S/he will be working at a page-by-page level to understand user behavior, develop insights, build tests based on hypotheses, and use results to implement changes to optimize improvements in traffic, conversion, and retention.
The Specialist, Testing & Optimization requires strong digital business acumen and a combination of analysis and project management. They will help lead the Digital Marketing Team's analysis for understanding user behavior in relation to website performance and be the point person for initiatives that directly impact that performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within the priorities set by the overall website strategy and under the supervision of the team Director, you will:
• Analyze website usage data from a variety of sources (analytics, mouse tracking, surveys, user recordings, and more) to provide actionable insights that can improve website performance (30%)
• Coordinate with team members internally and externally to build, deploy, and analyze website performance tests and experiments (30%)
• Work on page-by-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve organic website traffic and conversion rates (25%)
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their objectives relating to the website and to develop plans to improve and optimize the site relative to these objectives within the context of the overall website objectives (10%)
• Produce regular reporting of results and impact of improvements and tests as needed. Perform other duties as may be required. (5%)
Preferred Qualifications
• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML
• Bachelor's Degree
