The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), formally Defense Security Agency, is a federal agency of the United States Department of Defense solely responsible for the national security clearance process. The Vetting Risk Operations Center (VROC) conducts advanced vetting methodologies designed to address insider threat risk within the government's cleared population. The Expedited Screening Center (ESC) resides within the VROC to conduct specialized screening of an identified population to further contribute to the mitigation of insider threat risk.
The Mid-Level Intelligence Analyst position is part of a cohesive team designed to provide all-source intelligence analysis support using NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS systems. This position reports directly to the Sr Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert on site and will perform duties associated with counterintelligence (CI), counterterrorism (CT), insider threat, foreign intelligence entity (FIE), investigations, and operations data in the form of reports, trend analyses, data queries, finished intelligence products, research, briefings, white papers, and other products as required and according to SOPs, protocols, and requirements. The ideal candidate will have the ability to apply basic understanding of the various forms of intelligence in order to incorporate this data into intelligence analysis to include, but not limited to, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and investigative data.
