The Applied Partners for Chronic Conditions team is looking for an innovative business analyst to help us in our mission to provide personalized, actionable data driven insights for customers with chronic conditions, working with cross-functional partners to streamline accessible and affordable care.
The Business Analytics Senior Advisor will play an active part of a dynamic team that utilizes advanced analytics to develop and assess chronic disease products. This individual will be a subject matter expert who can identify opportunities for providing chronic condition customers better care, develop and validate predictive models for new products, offer actionable insights for prioritizing clinical opportunities on a customer and client basis, and evaluating performance of existing products. This position will work closely stakeholders and cross-functional partners across the enterprise, providing insights from analyses to answer business questions about chronic diseases such as What is the clinical profile of a customer segment? How can we reach customers to facilitate care? How can we make their health journey simpler and more affordable?
This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.
The ideal candidate has strong statistical and analytical skills, previous experience in the healthcare industry, has worked with big data, can effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders in non-technical language. They can take a leading role, guiding data scientists and business analysts focused on a project, guiding the work, while managing professional relationships with multiple stakeholders.
The responsibilities are as follows:
Please note- you must have analytic experience in healthcare data, including analysis of clinical data to be considered for this role. Project work on Diabetes, Musculoskeletal, Oncology, and/or Cardiac conditions highly beneficial, as is experience with analyzing claims data. Proven results stemming from working within teams with diverse expertise important.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 104,700 - 174,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
