Under the guidance of the ERP Manager, supervise and maintain the organizations repository of software applications through best practices and lead the activities of the technical programming team. Guide and assist the user group on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. Responsible for the management, development, and daily operation of systems within the Epicor ERP System and associated third party systems. Participates in analyzing, designing, debugging, and coding software applications integrating with the existing ERP system.

Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability Establish functional or system software standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressedProvide advice and planning on required ERP patching and upgradesProvide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems Collaborate to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components Develop or guide the development of needed software solutionsPlan and execute Epicor environment refreshes and configurations Evaluate and execute advice obtained from SQL Server monitoring service Execute required ERP patching and upgrades Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems Collaborate with software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components Analyze and repair functional and technical software problems directly related to the company's ERP system as well as bolt-on software systems that integrate with the ERP system Perform activities associated with development, design, implementation, operation, delivery and service of the ERP and integrated software systems Write code and test new applications to ensure business functionality has been achieved Document procedures and operation methods Trains users on new software system functionality Help Desk support as required
