WHO YOU ARE

As a National Strategic Sales Manager in our Building Division-You will lead strategic sales growth. Manage key relationships and partnerships in the following market segments: Single Family Builders, Multifamily Owners-Developers, Architect and Design Firms and Hospitality. You will have help in the past, possible positions as Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager- Regional or National, National Account Sales Manager -specific to the Pro Channel.

 

WHERE YOU WILL BE LOCATED

We are looking for a Road Warrior who can travel about 40% of the time. You may be located in any major City in very close  proximity to a major Airport location.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop, establish and grow key relationships with the top national specifiers for each targeted market segment
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to grow market share and profitability within each targeted market segment
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales Support and Independent Rep Agents to communicate specifications and new project opportunities
  • Document activity and account progress utilizing Salesforce CRM system
  • Utilize Project Pipeline software (Dodge Pipeline) to track, solicit and communicate project opportunities to Field Sales Team
  • Work with Legal and Senior Leadership to prepare, present and negotiate national contracts (RFPs) with key accounts
  • Evaluate and determine annual trade show and event schedule, while tracking and reporting ROI
  • Responsible for coordinating follow-up of builder, architect and project leads from various events during any given year
  • Provide monthly dashboard reports of active opportunities, opportunities in process and closed opportunities (closed-won and closed-lost)
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to develop specific sales plans for Top 50 new construction MSA's
  • Participate and represent company in professional organizations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 6+ years progressive experience in sales and/or marketing in the new construction industry
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated success selling to builders/architects/designers preferred
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate superior leadership skills
  • Display competitive spirit and desire to win within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
  • Contribute to effective team output through cooperation, participation and a commitment to shared vision and goals
  • Engage effectively with local sales teams to manage customers and projects
  • Experience with CRM system
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • 40% travel required
  • Ideal candidate should be within close proximity to a major airport
