Calibration Specialist - Intern (Engineering)
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in a new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Calibration Team in Santa Barbara, CA is responsible for the calibration of all equipment at ACT. We are searching for a Co-op pursuing work experience with system-level organization and workflow to support the Calibration Team at ACT. The successful candidate will validate the equipment details, location, and maintenance cycle, review the calibration history for documentation gaps/errors, and provide recommendations for a calibration schedule that best suits production needs. The individual will become proficient in Calibration software and be detail oriented in the documentation of equipment details and workflow. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.
This position will run from May 2022 - August 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 29 hours per week at our Santa Barbara Arthrex California Technology location.

Intermediate to Expert computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction. PowerPoint applications proficiency a plus.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
