Tooling Sales Engineer-Minneapolis, MN (Finance)
Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Productivity Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in the Capital Equipment sales process by providing technical information required to maximize productivity of machine tool users. Work with Capital Sales, Service, Applications, Contract Administration and management to provide accountability and follow-up for our customers. A Productivity Specialist is the customer advocate and main point of contact throughout the entire sales process. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
•Demonstrate the ability to generate revenue within territory when not conducting Morris Plus process.
•Proposes optimizing solutions through proposals and follows projects through the sales cycle
MORRIS PLUS Process Duties and Responsibilities
Documents the status and activities for installed machines using the MORRIS PLUS check lists entered into SalesForce with all customer visits.
Job Competencies/Qualifications(Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):
•Engineering Degree (or related discipline) with 3+ years of applicable experience
•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CNC machine technology and applications with previous experience in a manufacturing environment
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
•Frequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is necessary
•Be self-motivated and self-sufficient
•Be organized and analytical and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive
approaches
•Proven experience and ability to effectively present products and information to customers in a one-on-one or group setting
•Possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to
emails, requests for quotes and when submitting reports
•Exhibit excellent team work skills
•Able to handle travel
•Knowledge of Microsoft office programs and Sales Force a plus!
•Possess a valid US driving license and a good driving record
•Possess a current US Passport
