"The San Francisco office of this large national firm specializes in labor and employment, although the firms attorneys also practice construction law, government contracts, and related litigation. The firms clients are incredibly diverse and relatively stable; the firm currently represents over 200 of the Fortune 500 companies. The work environment is professional, yet informal; the firm recently instituted a year-round business casual dress code for both attorneys and staff. According to one associate, the firms attorneys dont ""live at the office""; the firm requires associates to bill 1950 hours annually and awards bonuses for hours billed over that target. All hours spent on approved pro bono work are credited toward the 1950 billable hour requirement."
