Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining materials and stock, and communicating with customers, stakeholders, and other departments to resolve issues.
Responsibilities
Documentation & System Updates
Updates and closes shipment orders in a timely fashion
Receives, distributes, and tracks daily shipments and tracks duration of how long materials are in storage
Shipping & Receiving
Maintains records of materials received and shipped; rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary and notifying appropriate stakeholders
Problem Solving
Works with customers and other departments to escalate and resolve shipping and receiving issues
Inventory Management
Maintains appropriate consumable stock levels (e.g. cable connectors, ordering materials at specified minimums)
Equipment
Manages stored and/or abandoned equipment
IBX Support
Removes/disposes of all packing material from the IBX
Qualifications
1+ years experience
High School Diploma
Able to utilize material-handling equipment and/or forklifts
Able to perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds; knows proper lifting and handling techniques
