Responsibilities
• Performs on-site demand and contract field services to support our customer's installed base for Rosemount Instruments
• Provide technical assistance on Rosemount products and process applications to customers
• Provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, calibration, and start-up and commissioning services
• Provide support of local installed base and recommend approaches on repair, replace and upgrades
• Provide informal and on-the-job customer training
• Effectively communicates customer needs and opportunities
• Develops effective tactics and strategies to support customer needs
• Execute tactics and strategies to improve customer satisfaction and service growth
• Report performance measures towards goals
• Full understanding of available service programs
• Effectively utilizes technical skills and abilities to advance relationships with Sales and customers.
• Proper completion of all required reports, certificates, and relevant documents
• Use of the Acclivus R3 dialogue process
• Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
• Responsible for personal safety and those around him/her.
• Participation and involvement in company Safety and Quality programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
Some travel will be required.
Requirements
EDUCATION: Associates degree in Instrumentation or 1800 hours of technical schooling is required.
EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years of related instrumentation experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems are necessary.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills are a must.
• Personal computer experience necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal office and shop environments as well as frequent customer site trips, involving driving company vehicles, climbing, and manual dexterity work. Repeated lifting of items up to 25lbs.
